About Mr C
Strict on the outside. Mostly.
Mr C teaches Business English to BTS students as well as other courses related to mobility, comunication and languages to corporate employees.
After working in international relations and living in several different countries, he settled down in Brittany and has been teaching since then.
He believes in short lessons, honest feedback and never, ever wearing matching socks. Oh, and sarcasm, duh!

I’m not mean. I’m accurate.
There’s a difference, and you’ll learn it.

The method, such as it is
1
Read before, not after.
Each lesson fits on a coffee break: the rule, real examples, the classic traps.
2
Fail fast, fail cheap.
Exercises are corrected instantly and explain why. Retrying is free. Pride isn’t.
3
Peeking costs half.
Lost mid-exercise? Look at the lesson for fifteen seconds. The question then counts for half a point. Fair is fair.
4
Then do it for real.
Missions put you in a shop, a warehouse or an inbox, with a role and something at stake.
The jacket
100+ pins and counting.
The school hoodie, or a waistcoat and blazer, and a lapel that gets heavier every term. Some pins are inspiring. Most are not. The students’ favourite is a turquoise tumbler: tears of my students — still warm.
House rules
- Your data stays here. First name, initial, school email. That’s it.
- No ads, no tracking cookies, no selling anything to anyone.
- Active time counts real work only. Idle tabs don’t fool anybody.
- Everybody gets the same rules. Especially the charming ones.

Questions? Complaints? Compliments, even? I read everything. Eventually.
